A professional, cutting-edge company such as SAPE always starts with a founder whose entrepreneurial vision has succeeded in turning a small business into a success story. The original family business was founded in 1960 and was already operating in the light carpentry sector.
The history of SAPE began in 1989, when Carlo Pettinelli, previously the founder and director of the historic family business, decided to start a new project, initially intended for asset management.
For ten years, SAPE exclusively managed the Pettinelli family’s real estate assets, leaving the remaining production activities to the historic company.
Carlo Pettinelli then decided to pass on the tradition of metal construction to the rest of his family in order to give continuity to his project. His sons Francesco and Andrea thus had the opportunity to quickly become familiar with the metal construction sector and receive the appropriate training to acquire the necessary professional skills.
In 2002, SAPE launched an ambitious business project involving the Pettinelli family, engaging them in the technical and production management of the metalworking sector.
SAPE continued its professional journey over the years until 2012, a turning point when it decided to set up a new plant for the production of steel structures. This step was fundamental in the company’s history as it defined the importance of its role in the construction sector.
The company’s ambitious evolution was made possible by twenty years of specific experience in the field of prefabricated steel structures and metal carpentry. The founder’s commitment has been passed on over the years to subsequent generations, with the aim of creating a professional and cutting-edge working environment.
